The 11th annual Fall Arts Picnic was held Wednesday, September 12 in a new location - the Gavin's Point Beach Area on Lewis & Clark Lake. Hosted by the MMC Gregorian Club and arts faculty members, over 80 people attended the event. Students enjoyed grilled hamburgers and hot dogs (among the flies) and could be found swimming, kayaking and going for pontoon boat rides!! Each fall the event provides an opportunity for new and returning students to get together in a casual setting to hang out.
"For a few years I thought it would be awesome to have the event out at the lake. It was a winner - everyone seemed to have a good time. Thanks Gregorian Club for helping out with the event - and Captain Keith Halvorson (husband of MMC CFO Daisy Halvorson) for the great boat rides!!"
